Regarding the pros I would like to highlight the following:
● Top-level and high-quality education, recognized all over the world
● Many grants, scholarship and financial aid programs for international students
● Students can work full-time during their studying process
● The opportunity to stay in the country in the future and obtain citizenship is much easier than in other countries
● Fluent English or French at the end of education at the native speaker level
● No need to wait for the 18th anniversary for admission as in many European countries to enroll
● Admission is possible several times a year (from 2 to 3), which is not provided in many countries of the world
● Education is much cheaper than in Europe, the UAE and even Russia
● Citizenship and education will provide the opportunity for visa-free travel almost all over the world
● Citizenship and education will provide an opportunity to work as an expat anywhere in the world
● The ability to choose programs in English or French, which is not possible in the United States or the UK
●Education is cheaper than in other North American countries
●Life of living is less than in other countries considering the current Canadian dollar’s rate
●No mandatory SAT tests like in other countries.
●Lots of options for English proficiency tests, starting from Duolingo and ending with TOEFL and IELTS.
As to cons:
● There is no free education
● Cost of education is higher for foreigners (international students) than for local Canadians
● In order to get a grant and scholarship, you must work hard and make efforts
